Founded in 1998, Degen.Net has featured the wisdom, insight and other ramblings of your host Eric Degen. Eric has worked in the Information Technology field for 20+ years, witnessing the birth of the modern decentralized computing era.

Throughout his career Eric has managed IT departments, innovated and architected solutions for hundreds of firms. Presently, Eric serves as a Network Engineer for the US Federal Judiciary and is an analyst for the Techdirt insight community.

In January 2007 the site was radically redesigned and took on it’s present Blog format.
